Coastal Day Trip: Highway 1 to Monterey

Today my mom and I took a day trip down Highway 1 to Monterey, and it was such a good day.

We stopped at Davenport Beach and Del Monte Beach on the way down. Driving the California coast never gets old: the ocean, the cliffs, the little beach towns. I could do that drive a hundred times. We ended the day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and walked around Cannery Row.

I love exploring California with my mom. Every little day trip turns into a new adventure and another memory together.
