The Road Trip

The first post from our California road trip! Since Thursday, we’ve driven through Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico, and today we made it to Durango, Colorado. That is a LOT of driving!

Arkansas was beautiful. Oklahoma was LONG. And Texas was... well, Texas. You’ve got to love a state with road signs warning that hitchhikers might be escaped inmates. 😳

New Mexico was breathtaking, and Colorado is every bit as beautiful as we imagined. 🏔️

Tonight we’re resting up in Durango, and tomorrow we head to Moab, Utah. The adventure is officially underway!
