A Hot Day in Zion National Park

Our California adventure continues... and today was all about Zion National Park!

Mother Nature had other plans for our hiking. By 11 a.m. it was already 105 degrees, and there was a heat advisory, so we decided to play it smart. As much as we wanted to hit more trails, no view is worth risking your health.

We still had an amazing day exploring the park. We walked the Pa’rus Trail, stared up at the huge canyon walls, watched the Virgin River wind through the valley, and just enjoyed being in one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever seen.

One of the best parts of this trip has been seeing how different every national park is. Each one has its own personality, and each one leaves us a little more amazed by this country.

Tomorrow we trade red rock cliffs for the Eastern Sierra as we head to Mammoth Lakes! New adventures, cooler temperatures (hopefully... spoiler: we had to get through Death Valley first 😅), and more memories with my favorite travel buddy, my mom. 💛

Stay tuned... this adventure is far from over!
