When a Place Starts to Feel Like the Future
We are exhausted, but what an incredible trip, even with rain the entire time!
From Alcatraz to Muir Woods to the Golden Gate Bridge (which you can even spot from campus), we packed in so many unforgettable moments. In between it all, we explored the city, toured a condo for purchase and a beautiful hilltop home for rent, and started to get a real feel for what life there could look like. Big decisions ahead for me and Mom!
But nothing quite prepared us for UC Berkeley. The campus was absolutely stunning and unlike any other we’ve toured. After spending time talking with admitted and current students, walking the campus, and exploring the surrounding area, and it feels so right for me!
We didn’t get as many campus photos as I would’ve liked, but we’re already looking forward to heading back for Cal Day, the admitted students event, hopefully with better weather and more pictures!
And in true fashion, we ended the day by escaping into nature at Muir Woods, which was absolutely breathtaking. There’s something about the towering redwoods and the quiet that resets everything.
Rain or shine, it was a really meaningful and productive trip.
