Our catchphrase for finding a donor has been One Kid. One Kidney. 

Today, we are One Kid. No Kidneys.

G had both kidneys removed yesterday to hopefully stabilize some of the major complications that she has been experiencing. Surgery lasted 6 hours, included 3 surgeons, their assistants, their nursing teams and her anesthesiologist. Surgery was uneventful and success in every way. She is recouperating today… mostly sleeping.
