Brown University Pre-College Program

What an absolute honor it was for G to be a part of this incredible group of students with Brown University Pre-College this summer. It was amazing to be immersed in hands-on field experience.

She is grateful for the chance to learn, explore, and contribute alongside such dedicated peers and mentors. This program was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

This summer 20 students embarked on hands-on environmental studies, specifically field methodology for data collection, in the Eastern Sierras.

Throughout the 11-day program, students alternated studying at the Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Laboratory and studying in the field in locations such as Mono Lake, Devil's Postpile National Monument and Yosemite National Park.
