Induction into the Darlington Chapter of Cum Laude Society
Lately, my calendar has been full, to say the least, and while every event has been meaningful in its own way, today was truly something extraordinary.
Today, I was inducted into The Cum Laude Society, a highly selective and prestigious honor society for secondary schools, often considered the high school equivalent of Phi Beta Kappa. Founded in 1906, it recognizes students who demonstrate not only academic excellence, but also the values of scholarship, justice, and honor.
This moment felt like more than just an achievement. It was a powerful reflection of years of hard work, perseverance, and determination. The late nights, the pressure, the commitment… all of it led to this.
